Some people are lucky enough to have friendships that began in elementary school or later in school. Some develop a best friend in college, on-the-job or through parent groups.

Best friend day is a holiday celebrated all over the world. It is a day you can take to let your very best friend know just how much they mean to you. In 2020 it may not be easy to get together for an afternoon, lunch, or movie. But a phone call or video chat may be just what you both need at this time. For something extra special, you may want to send a card, flowers or small gift to commemorate the day.

The most important part is making sure your best friend knows just how much you mean to them. Maybe a compliment, sharing your favorite memory together, or simply a call out of the blue may brighten your day. Whatever you decide, feel lucky and blessed that you have a best friend to share your life.
