Celebrating Dairy Month!

National Dairy Month started out as National Milk Month in 1937 as a way to promote drinking milk when production was at a surplus. Now, 83 years later, our local farmers need our continued support!

Disruptions in the supply chain with restaurant, cafeteria, and school closures has led to an overabundance of milk and a drop in milk prices for our local farmers. Dairying has long been an important Wisconsin industry and a large part of many of our resident’s lives. We will show our support during the month of June by serving up Ellsworth Cheese Curds every Friday throughout the month, as well as having wine and cheese on National Cheese Day, June 4th, and root beer floats on National Ice Cream Soda Day, June 20th!
